Unfortunately, I haven't had many of those lately. My kitty, Josie, recently went through surgery to remove a fairly large tumor. When we got her home she seemed to be recovering so well that I got my hopes up that she would continue to get well, and everything would be ok. But a few days ago we got a call from the vet...the tumor was cancerous. He said she would probably live another 6 months to a year...but really, who knows? She has been, if possible, extra sweet and friendly after the surgery, and I know that all remaining time spent with her will be beautiful memories. I just have to keep thinking that way I guess...I am so devastated knowing that her life now has a time limit. She holds such a special place in my heart and I am dreading the day when she will be taken from me...
